Tips for posters, invitations and screens

Print large enough: on posters, a rough rule is a code width of one tenth of the reading distance.
On the big screen, show the code for several seconds and large enough – for the back rows, too.
Say what happens: “Scan for the programme” or “Sign up now” under the code helps.
Test with two or three phones before printing – in dim light, too.
Use dynamic codes: later you change the page, not the print.

Frequently asked questions

Do guests need an app?

No. The phone camera is enough – the event page opens directly in the browser.

Can I change the programme without reprinting?

Yes. The codes point to your page at QRown. When you change it, everyone sees the new version on the next scan – the printed codes stay valid.

How does the date get into the calendar?

With an event code: it contains the date, time, place and description. After scanning, guests can save the event directly.

Can I see which advertising works?

Yes. The statistics show scans per code. With the A/B test you can also compare two target pages with an adjustable split.

How do I collect feedback?

With a review page with your own questions. You see the answers in the results, and after a poor rating you can get an email right away.
